Church World Service helps immigrants settle in Triad
The United States grants approximately 675,000 immigrants permanent visas each year, and many choose the Piedmont Triad as their home. An organization called Church World Service is there to guide them through relocation.

Former News & Record Property Acquired for Greensboro City Center Redevelopment
A 6.65-acre parcel in downtown Greensboro, formerly home to the News & Record, has been purchased by Center City Investors, LLC, a partnership created by the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro’s Real Estate Management Fund. The acquisition aims to support the ongoing revitalization of the city’s urban core and expand development into the east side of downtown.
