Parents know it’s not always easy to find a reliable babysitter, and when you do find one, it can be expensive.
That means a lot of parents miss out on attending events. That includes voting or participating in civic events, such as meeting political candidates or attending a school board meeting. One nonprofit is trying to change that.
When someone’s health is failing, when they’re diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease or dementia, or when they have an intellectual or developmental disability, they’re still a valuable member of society.
