Every community foundation begins with the same simple idea: when people come together to invest in where they live, more becomes possible. That belief is the foundation of Make More Possible, a national campaign spotlighting the unique role community foundations play in connecting generosity with local impact.
Goodwill is about more than re-purposing clothes at a bargain price. The nonprofit helps people develop computer and job skills, and it helps people who’ve been in prison through a program called Careers On The Outside. It’s a job and life training for people after incarceration.
The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro welcomed donors, nonprofit partners, community leaders, and friends to the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts for its 2026 Annual Meeting, an annual luncheon celebrating the people and ideas shaping Greensboro’s future.
