Girls in Gear is a free, hands-on career exploration event for ninth- through 12th-grade girls and their parents or guardians.

- Try interactive, hands-on activities
- Tour GTCC’s technical labs
- Meet women working in technical careers
- Connect with local employers
- Learn about GTCC programs and Career and College Promise
- Explore paid apprenticeships, NC FAME, and other pathways connecting high school, college, and employment
Hosted by Guilford Apprenticeship Partners and Guilford Technical Community College, Girls in Gear helps young women see where their interests, talents, and curiosity can take them.
