Future Fund is a group of community-minded, forward-thinking young professionals who are invested in the future of Greensboro and Guilford County. This initiative is made possible through the Ann Lineweaver Future Fund Endowment, valued at nearly $1.4 million.
Started in 1999 by a group of community-minded, forward-thinking young professionals, the Future Fund is a pipeline for Greensboro’s next generation of philanthropic leaders. “Funders” make an annual investment of $150 into the Future Fund. In 2023, Future Fund identified its values as innovation and impact. Members have the chance to become part of something bigger than themselves while making their city a great place to live, work, and play. Active members plan and produce the innovative Future Fund Program to award over $60,000 to local nonprofits.

“Future Fund provided an opportunity for a paid student fellowship to advance leadership skills through mentoring, program development, and practical experience. Reconsidered Goods is thrilled to offer this program for the first time.”
