Gifts made online by credit card on our secure site will be credited to the charitable fund that you designate net of standard credit card processing fees. You will receive an acknowledgment and receipt of your gift via email from us. The check memo line should be used to indicate the particular fund to which you would like your contribution to be credited. Please make your check payable and mail your contribution to:

Matching Gifts

Ask your employer if they have a matching gifts program. They are often dollar-for-dollar, but some companies could double or triple your original donation.

Stocks and other gifts

Gifts of stocks, securities, real estate, IRA distributions, or life insurance are accepted to support any fund. Stock gifts should be emailed to the Community Foundation and initiated through your broker. Please include details of stock name, number of shares, and which fund to credit.

Legacy Gifts

A bequest is a flexible and impactful way to give to any fund at the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro for generations to come. Changes can be made due to personal circumstances at any time.

Your donations help us continue bringing together organizations, people, and programs across our community to identify, facilitate, and fund projects that range from recreational and artistic endeavors, like LeBauer Park and the Steven Tanger Center for the Performing Arts, to programs focused on education and workforce development, like Say Yes Guilford.

This includes everything from improving education and workforce development to ensuring rich and diverse cultural arts to expanding access to safe, affordable, and healthy housing to helping other nonprofits thrive.

Many donors give to or establish permanent grantmaking funds that allow the Community Foundation to address community needs in perpetuity. These funds have provided grants for everything from improving education and workforce development to enhancing access to safe, affordable, and healthy housing to encouraging the arts.
