The 2013 North Carolina Women’s Roundtable
On March 11, Women to Women, hosted a statewide conference of representatives from North Carolina’s key women leadership groups as they learned the results of new data on issues affecting women and girls in our state. The Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR), in partnership with the North Carolina Council for Women and Wells Fargo, released the Status of Women in North Carolina Report with new data on economic security/poverty, employment/earnings, health/well-being and political participation. In addition, thanks to the generous contribution of Women to Women Founding Donor Gail Boulton, the group discussed a separate, break-out study that focused solely on the status of women in Guilford County.
