Israeli-Palestinian Relations briefing with Prof. Muntar Dajani,  Dean, Faculty of Arts, Al Quds University, and Director, Issam Sartawi Center for the Advancement of Peace and Democracy. (NC)

Depart for Dead Sea Basin

11:00 am

Swim Spa and lunch at Hod hotel at the Dead Sea

2:00 pm 
Ride the cable car up to the top of Masada, King Herod’s historic hilltop fortress, where a small band of Jewish zealots took refuge after the Roman destruction of the Second Temple in 70 BCE, resisting a prolonged siege by the Roman army. Tour the remains of what today is a source of self-reflection for Israelis and Jews around the world.

Walk down the Roman ramp

4:30 pm
Camel ride at the Nokdim village

Bedouin dinner at the Nokdim village

Proceed to Jerusalem

Overnight: Inbal hotel, Jerusalem
