In celebration of African American Philanthropy Month, the Expanding Community Giving initiative will host a Community Conversation with the Honorable Dr. Otis Johnson, the former mayor of Savannah, Georgia, nonprofit executive and board member of the Mary Reynolds Babcock Foundation.
Speaking on the topic of “Reframing Civic Engagement”, Dr. Johnson brings a unique perspective on how African American donors can use philanthropy as a critical tool for community and civic leadership and propel communities forward.
