The Community Foundation connects donors to the causes they care about, and in doing so helps to bring people together to create a more efficient and effective environment for charitable giving. Your fund will be part of an organization that gives leadership to important community initiatives, shepherds new projects, encourages collaboration among agencies, and fosters positive change in the Greater Greensboro area.

We are available to provide information on organizations and causes you care about, to schedule site visits to area nonprofits, and to connect you with other donors through events and committees sponsored by the Community Foundation. Announcements
Every year the Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro hosts an annual “Grants-in-Action Tour”, where we make site visits to several organizations that have benefited from our grants. Our donors are invited to join the tour and are able to see the fruits of our collective labor and learn more about the great work that’s being done in our community. This years’ tour included visits to: Joseph’s House, ArtQuest, Community Theatre of Greensboro, African American Atelier, Carolina Theatre, Green Hill Center for NC Art and ArtQuest, and a Housing Tour of Willow Oaks.
