Teen Grantmaking Council, a program of The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro,
to announce grant awards at annual celebratory event
Who: The Teen Grantmaking Council of The Community Foundation of Greater Greensboro
What: A celebration featuring recent grantees of the Teen Grantmaking Council youth philanthropy initiative. Editors: This is a terrific story and photo opportunity – our community’s young people announcing how they have decided to distribute thousands of dollars to causes important to them. It is a great demonstration of young people getting involved in giving back at an early age.
Where: The Community Foundation, 330 S. Greene Street., Suite 100, boardroom
When: 6:15–7:30 p.m. on Monday, March 14
Why: Every year TGC celebrates the initiative of young people in our area to address issues and opportunities prevalent in their communities. This year we celebrate seven grantees ranging in age from elementary school students to high school students.
How: Please contact Traci Poole (email@example.com) by Wednesday, March 9, if you would like to attend this teen-focused celebration. Media coverage is welcomed and appreciated.
