Public Art Endowment trustees select one of three possible works of public art for a commissioned site-specific glass work at the new Van Dyke Performing Arts Building at the Greensboro Cultural Center. For our second long-term installation of 2016, Cheryl Stewart, the Endowment’s Public Art Consultant, introduced three significant and diverse artists for trustees’ consideration during an event November 1st. Voting for the Van Dyke Windows ended Monday, November 7th.
The three artists – Amy Cheng, Charlotte Paul, Carl Powell – presented their proposals for the Van Dyke windows during this event. To see their presentations and website information click on the links below.

Ballots for this year’s vote were handed out at the end of the trustees’ meeting held November 1st. For those unable to attend, votes were cast using an online form. The artist will be announced November 11th.
